Stormwater basins are installed at the Mill Street Station Shops parking lot!

These basins are designed to efficiently manage stormwater runoff and help mitigate flooding in the area by collecting and redistributing stormwater at a controlled rate to local green spaces.

As 2025 winds down, the Westport Stormwater Improvements team is taking time to reflect on the work accomplished this year.

Stormwater basin deliveries at Dr. Jeremiah Cameron Park have been completed! Over the course of three weeks, more than 320 individual pieces were installed in the park to serve as downstream underground storage for the project.
